Alexandria Masse

As an illustrator, I interpret the visual story. This responsibility allows me to break boundaries of race and gender so other young artists can imagine themselves as part of the story. I want those viewing my art to be inspired and to see themselves represented in my illustrations.

Ontario based illustrator Alexandria Masse creates simple, yet emotive and colourful images for children’s books. She completed her first book at the end of high school. Some of her books include: Everyone Can Learn Math, Hallway Connections, Think Like a Coder, Gracie, and Finding Lost Smiles. She believes that stories can come to life through her illustrations.Alexandria currently resides in Halifax with her pet rabbit, Elbow, where she’s studying fashion and textiles on a full ride scholarship at NSCAD University.
