“Every child needs to be seen, heard, and accepted for who they are.”
- Kellie Bahri is a veteran elementary teacher who is committed to supporting students, colleagues, families, and the community through establishing strong relationships. Kellie holds two master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Leadership. She will begin her Doctorate of Education in Leadership this fall. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her four children and husband in northern Michigan. Kellie advocates it is through trusting relationships that children are able to take risks in their learning. When a child feels seen, heard, and accepted for their unique stories, they will begin to embrace challenges and grow. Through her work with culturally responsive teaching and student agency, she continues to meet each child where they are; with loving heart and high expectations.
